"The Pitt" star Noah Wyle and his family have bid a tearful farewell to one of their own.
Wyle and his wife, Sara, shared the news in an Oct. 18Instagram post, writing that they were "devastated" by the loss of Lily, their beloved dog.
"Our sweet girl left us today," Sara wrote in the comment section. "...we are devastated. It was unexpected." Sara's message also included a carousel of images chronicling various moments from Lily's life with the family.
Snapshots showed the canine through the years, including one photo of Noah petting her. The couple also shared a short clip of the pooch lying on her back, asking for belly rubs.
"I just want to be this dog in my next life," Sara said in the video. "She was our beautiful California Brown Bear and
there is/was no one like her. Hug your fur babies tight."
