The San Francisco 49ers can't catch a break with injuries in the wide receiver room.
Veteran wideout Mike Evans exited the game at the 1:45 mark of the second quarter following an incomplete pass across the middle.
Evans was carted to the locker room. He left the game with three catches, 34 yards and a touchdown.
The 49ers were putting on a clinic against the Cardinals before the untimely injury that Evans suffered.
What happened to Mike Evans?
Evans, 33, left the game against the Cardinals after a non-contact injury. The team announced via X (formerly Twitter) that the veteran receiver was out for the rest of the game with a rub injury.

He didn't make contact with anyone on the play. Evans was clearly
in pain after the play. The team athletic trainer and staff attended to him on the field, and cameras showed him visibly hurt. The team's training staff assisted the veteran to the sideline.
49ers WR depth chart
The 49ers are down another receiver following Evans' exit. They're down De'Zhaun Stribling, Ricky Pearsall and Demarcus Robinson.
The remaining receivers on the depth chart are Deebo Samuel Sr., Jordan Watkins, Jacob Cowing and KhaDarel Hodge. They recently signed veteran receiver Brandin Cooks to their practice squad to fill the void left by their injured players.
