Marvel Cinematic Universe fans are in for a real treat, or two.
Weeks ahead of the Dec. 18 release of "Avengers: Doomsday", several fast-food chains, including Jack in the Box and Dunkin', are making Robert Downey Jr.'s return to the blockbuster franchise even more exciting with themed food, drinks and merch.
In addition to releasing eight special-edition "Doomsday" inspired magnets, Jack in the Box is upping the ante with the Doomsday Dipping Box, featuring popcorn chicken, two mozzarella sticks, two Jack tacos, an order of curly fries and a drink.
A flight of themed dipping sauces, including the all-new, mysterious Assemble Sauce, the limited-time Mutant Marinara and Fantastic Buttermilk Ranch, will also be available for purchase.
The Doomsday
Dipping Box, along with the dipping sauces and intricate, puzzle piece-shaped magnets, will drop at participating Jack in the Box restaurants nationwide through the Jack app and online at JackintheBox.com on Nov. 5.
Like Jack in the Box, Dunkin' is counting down the days to "Doomsday". A limited-time lineup of drinks, donuts and collectibles will launch on Wednesday, Nov. 4.
Dave & Buster's and M&M's are also joining the "Doomsday" fun with themed packaging, limited-time fan experiences and collector's items like the M&M’S x Marvel crossover comic book.
Dunkin' is counting down the days to 'Doomsday'
From Marvel character-inspired drinks to collectible tumblers ($24.99), Dunkin' is also celebrating ahead of the "Doomsday" premiere with a limited-time lineup, available at participating Dunkin’ restaurants nationwide.
Along with drinks and gear, Dunkin' is also releasing hero- and villain-inspired donuts, Munchkins, a Doctor Doom 25-count Munchkins tin ($14.99), a color-changing mug ($14.99) and two different kinds of cup sleeves ($8.99 / $14.99).
The limited-time beverage lineup includes:
- Iced Captain’ccino: Espresso, caramel flavor and coffee milk, lightly blended and served over icefor a bold, frothy sip worthy of any hero.
- Clobbered Cloud Latte: Espresso, whole milk and toasted white chocolate flavor topped withCookie Butter Cold Foam and crumbles inspired by The Thing’s rocky exterior.
- Wakandan Daydream Refresher: Berry Clementine Refresher, raspberry flavor and oat milk toppedwith Purple Marshmallow Cold Foam for a bright, creamy sip inspired by Black Panther.
- Optic Blast Lemonade: Sweet-tart lemonade charged with blue raspberry flavor inspired byCyclops.
- Doom’s Orders Energy: Green Apple Dunkin' Zero, sparkling water and Purple Marshmallow ColdFoam creates a sweet, tart and fizzy sip inspired by Doctor Doom.
- Doom Cloud Latte: Espresso, whole milk, mocha swirl and vanilla flavors topped with Sweet ColdFoam and cocoa powder.
According to Dunkin', the collaboration is only the beginning, with more surprises coming in November.
When is 'Avengers: Doomsday' releasing?
Disney and Marvel Studios are releasing "Avengers: Doomsday" in theaters on Dec. 18. The film marks Robert Downey Jr.'s return to the MCU, this time as Victor von Doom, also known as the supervillain Doctor Doom.
