Hurricane Isaias has made landfall along the Gulf Coast, with its impacts already being felt as the Category 3 storm continues on its projected path inland.
Those impacts are expected to be felt on Saturday's slate of college football games.
The day's marquee matchup will take place in Tuscaloosa at Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium, where No. 2 Georgia faces No. 7 Alabama. Kickoff between the Bulldogs and Crimson Tide remains set for 7:30 p.m. ET, with weather conditions expected to clear before the top-10 showdown begins.
Although weather is expected to clear before No. 2 Georgia and No. 7 Alabama kick off, other notable college football games along Hurricane Isaias' projected
path could face weather-related delays and game-impact conditions throughout the day.

Alabama vs Georgia
The top-10 matchup between Georgia and Alabama remains as scheduled for a 7:30 p.m. ET kickoff at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
Speaking to Fox Weather on Friday morning, Alabama meteorologist James Spann said the football game should be minimally impacted by the storm: "Because this thing is accelerating so quickly, we think the game will be just fine. No rain. Breezy? Yes. Damaging wind, no. The problem for me would be power outages tomorrow morning. Tuscaloosa can see wind gusts of 50, 55, maybe 60 mph about 4-6am, and that's going to create a lot of power outages, so we hope the lights will be on because it's a night game."
Due to the forecast, President Donald Trump canceled his trip to Tuscaloosa for the top-10 matchup. It would have been his second trip to an SEC football stadium in a matter of weeks, as he traveled to Texas vs. Tennessee in Knoxville two weeks ago.
The storm's forecast also prompted ESPN's "College GameDay" to move Saturday's three-hour pregame show indoors to Coleman Coliseum.
Duke vs Georgia Tech
At 12:23 p.m. ET on Friday, Oct. 9, the Yellow Jackets announced that Saturday's kickoff against Duke is still on schedule for 3:30 p.m. ET in Atlanta. Georgia Tech also noted that umbrellas are not permitted inside Bobby Dodd Stadium and that fans should have a rain jacket or poncho and dress accordingly.
The Weather Channel's hourly forecast(as of 5 p.m. ET on Friday) projects rain throughout the entire day, with precipitation chances staying around 70 to 80% during the game itself.
On Friday evening, Georgia Tech announced that Yellow Jacket Alley and the marching band’s traditional pregame concert for Saturday's game remain as planned, while the Helluva Block Party has been canceled due to the forecast.

LSU vs Kentucky
At 4:40 p.m. ET on Friday, the Wildcats announced that Saturday's kickoff against LSU is still on schedule for 7 p.m. ET in Lexington, and that should conditions change from the storm, they'll be communicated by the athletic department.
Due to expected rain and wind conditions throughout Saturday, Kentucky also announced that the halftime drone show has been rescheduled. The Weather Channel's hourly forecast (as of 5 p.m. ET on Friday) projects light rain, with precipitation chances ranging from around 40% to 70% during the game.
Additional notes included in Kentucky's release included:
- Prepare for rain. Fans are encouraged to bring appropriate rain gear and dress for cooler temperatures.
- Secure tailgating items. Tents, canopies and other loose items should be properly secured. Fans should not leave unsecured tents or loose items behind when entering Kroger Field.
- Monitor Cat Walk information. The Cat Walk could be moved indoors to Nutter Field House due to weather. Additional information will be shared if that change is made.
- Continue to monitor updates. Fans should check official Kentucky Athletics media channels for the latest game-day information.
Ole Miss vs Vanderbilt
Vanderbilt announced Friday night that fans are "strongly discouraged" from setting up portable tents for tailgating and pregame activities for Saturday's game vs. Ole Miss. The Commodores did not announce any changes or updates to the scheduled 3:30 p.m. ET kickoff against the Rebels.

James Madison vs Georgia Southern
Georgia Southern announced Friday that Saturday's 7:30 p.m. ET kickoff against James Madison remains on schedule despite The Weather Channel forecast (as of 5:10 p.m. ET on Friday) calling for rain and thunderstorms associated with the hurricane.
"With the potential for inclement weather in the afternoon and into game time, the university, along with the Sun Belt Conference and James Madison, is evaluating conditions and will make any necessary decisions regarding the game schedule, from parking lots opening for the day to kickoff, with the safety of student-athletes, coaches, staff, fans, and game-day personnel as the top priority," Georgia Southern said in a statement.
Bethune-Cookman vs Alabama A&M
Due to expected weather in the state of Alabama, Alabama A&M announced on Friday that its originally scheduled 7 p.m. ET kickoff against Bethune-Cookman on Saturday has been moved up to 1 p.m. ET and noon CT.
