Why It Matters: Although his performance didn't generate a lot of fantasy appeal, Williams played well in a hostile environment against a quality defense. He looks more comfortable in Ben Johnson's system and did a nice job of making high-percentage throws while mixing in some downfield shots. If there's a concern with Williams from a fantasy perspective, however, it's that his running has basically evaporated since returning from injury -- in the past three games, he has 22 rushing yards combiend. He faces another tough matchup in Week 9 as the Bears host the Buccaneers on Sunday Night
Football. Williams, who is currently a midrange/low-end QB1, holds fringe starting appeal versus Tampa Bay.
