Sean Ono Lennon has his own "little darling" now.
The Grammy-winning musician, son of Beatles rocker John Lennon and singer-songwriter Yoko Ono, revealed he welcomed his first child with partner Charlotte Kemp Muhl in a social media post Tuesday, Sept. 1.
Sean Lennon, 50, shared a photo of the couple cradling their newborn son, who was dressed in a striped, black-and-white onesie. The birth also marks the first grandchild for the late John Lennon, who was fatally shot in 1980. Ono has two grandchildren from her daughter, Kyoko Chan Cox, whom she had with film producer Anthony Cox.
"[Charlotte] and I have created a human bean!" Sean Lennon captioned the post. "His name is Aurelius! Thank you!"

Lennon met Muhl, a musician and model, in 2005 while attending the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. The couple started dating in 2007, according to People magazine. The pair have collaborated on several musical projects over the years, including the psychedelic pop band The Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger.
The first-time dad shared additional photos of Aurelius, including a close-up shot of the baby snuggling against Muhl's chest. "Baby Momma!" Sean Lennon wrote.
Muhl opened up about the family milestone in an Instagram post of her own, which featured several candid shots of the couple spending time with baby Aurelius.
"We made a human! [I] am convinced DNA is agentic alien quaternary code," Muhl wrote. "The sleep deprivation only adds to the surrealism…Burping technique tips welcome. Been playing him Aphex Twin and Stravinsky. Meconium is crazy."
In an interview with USA TODAY last April, Sean Lennon reflected on his relationship with his father, John Lennon. Sean executive produced the posthumous documentary "One to One: John & Yoko," which features archival footage of his parents during the turbulent early '70s.
"Growing up without my father, most of my experience of him has been through videos and film and music," Sean Lennon said. "So, I always feel like I'm gaining extra time with him. It was really great fun to hear the audio calls. It's nice because it's so candid and unfiltered."
