When does the Harry Potter HBO series come out?
The trailer reveals that the HBO series will be released Christmas 2026, after all previous conversations had been about a 2027 release. Production began in 2025.
USA TODAY previously reported that the new "Potter" adaptation would allow for a "deep dive into each of the iconic books that fans have continued to enjoy for all of these years." Each season of the show is expected to adapt one of Rowling's original seven "Potter" books.
