Washington's 5th District, which captures Spokane, was effected by ongoing blazes on Aug 4., as residents chose candidates for the November midterms. Washington has all-party primaries, meaning whichever candidates are the top-two vote getters head to the fall elections.

District 1
- Incumbent Democrat Rep. Suzan DelBene (54.5% of votes) came in first followed by Republican Mary Silva (27.2% if votes) with an estimated 53% of voted counted.
District 2
- Incumbent Democrat Rep. Rick Larsen (44.9% of votes) came in first followed by Republican Edwin Feller (32.9% if votes) with an estimated 51% of voted counted.
District 3
- Incumbent Democrat Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (38.9% of votes) came in first followed by Republican John Braun (38.7% if votes) with an estimated 53% of voted counted.
District 4
- Republican Amanda McKinney (34.9% of votes) cam in first followed by Democrat John Duresky (30.8% of votes) with an estimated 48% of votes counted.
District 5
- Incumbent Republican Rep. Michael Baumgartner (48% of votes) came in first. The second-place candidate was not yet determined early Wednesday, with 52% of votes counted.
District 6
- Incumbent Democrat Rep. Emily Randall (60.3% of votes) came in first followed by Republican Teresa Fox (25.1% if votes) with an estimated 53% of voted counted.
District 7
- Incumbent Democrat Rep. Pramila Jayapal (83.3% of votes) came in first followed by Republican Nirav Sheth (10.8% if votes) with an estimated 53% of voted counted.
District 8
- Incumbent Democratic Rep. Kim Schrier (54.1% of votes) came in first. The second-place candidate was not yet determined early Wednesday, with 55% of votes counted.
District 9
- Incumbent Democrat Rep. Adam Smith (51% of votes) came in first followed by Republican Doug Basler (23.8% if votes) with an estimated 53% of voted counted.
District 10
- Incumbent Democrat Rep. Marilyn Strickland (49.3% of votes) came in first followed by Republican Chris Chung (33.4% if votes) with an estimated 51% of voted counted.
