Actor Jeremy London is asking fans for support amid uncertainty over his job and housing.
The "7th Heaven" actor, 54, said in a now-deleted X post shared Thursday, Nov. 5, that he risked losing his job and home because of circumstances beyond his control, according to a People report on Nov. 6. He urged his followers to help him find a job, whether it was in acting or not, emphasizing that he is "a good person."
"My boss is going through some kind of mental crisis and I may be losing my job and home," the outlet quotes London saying in the now-deleted post. "This can’t be happening again."
"If anyone has a job and home for me out there, please let me know. I love working a real job on top of acting," he wrote. "Why does this keep happening to me??"
USA TODAY has reached out to London's representative for comment.
London is best known for playing T.S. Quint in the 1995 cult classic "Mallrats," as well as several TV roles in shows like "I'll Fly Away," "Party of Five" and "7th Heaven."
Jeremy London says his posts were blown out of proportion
After deleting the initial post, the San Diego-born star shared another post on X saying coverage on his situation has been “blown out of proportion.”
“I promise you this was blown out of proportion,” he wrote Nov. 7, responding to an E! News report about his apparent situation, published the day before. “I have a condo in Florida. I just didn’t want to leave PA because I fell in love with it. I was definitely in sad and in shock. But I am not destitute. Apologies for confusing wording in the moment.”
He also assured fans that his acting career is not over while thanking those who showed him support, writing, "You guys are amazing. Trust me."
"I’m doing GREAT! This will end up being such a blessing, getting away from that creep and back to my son and my art. I even have other potential job prospects already, so I see all of this as a blessing. My attorneys will handle the rest 😜," he added. "I’m also shooting a movie soon."
In response to someone who told him to "Go get ‘em," London shared three fist-bump emojis.
His spirits stayed up Saturday, Nov. 7: "I’m in such a good mood. I get to see my son and hug my brother today. Blessings always come in such weird ways but I always know the universe has my back. I love you guys! Have a blessed day!"
