Detroit Lions RB Jahmyr Gibbs ran the ball 15 times for 46 yards and a touchdown versus the Carolina Panthers in Week 4. Gibbs added four receptions (on seven targets) for 31 yards.

Why
It Matters: Gibbs has been 1a/1b with Bijan Robinson atop the running back rankings in 2026, but he had a surprisingly tough go of things on Sunday night against a Panthers defense that entered play ranked dead last in both rushing yards allowed per game (193.3) and per carry (5.7). While Gibbs still managed to find the end zone, it was doubtless a disappointing performance from one of the league's premier backs. He'll look to rebound in Week 5 against the Arizona Cardinals and remains a weekly lock in your lineup as an elite RB1.
