Zendaya paid tribute to Halle Berry at the 2026 Emmys – and the Oscar winner was more than happy to return the love.
Berry celebrated Zendaya after her look at the 2026 Emmy Awards drew inspiration from Berry's signature pixie cut and one of her memorable red carpet moments.
Berry, 60, shared three posts dedicated to the "Euphoria" star on her Instagram stories following Monday's ceremony. She began by reposting a side-by-side comparison of Zendaya's Emmys ensemble and Berry's outfit at the 2002 Los Angeles premiere of "Die Another Day," adding an animated heart and tagging Zendaya and stylist Law Roach. The picture was first shared by Roach on Instagram.
The comparison
showed Berry wearing a sheer, sparkling Collette Dinnigan minidress and her famous pixie cut alongside Zendaya, who also rocked a similar haircut with a modern interpretation of the look.

Zendaya, 30, arrived at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles wearing a custom Prada gown covered in silver embellishments. The floor-length dress featured sheer detailing, a plunging neckline and a small train. She completed the look with Mikimoto jewelry, a Rolex watch and a textured pixie cut.
Roach confirmed Berry's influence while discussing the ensemble in an interview shared by Refinery29.
"She murdered the night," Berry wrote while reposting the clip, according to People.

Berry ended her social media tribute by sharing two more posts by Variety and Marie Claire showcasing Zendaya's look, and revisiting just how much she admires the fellow star.
The "Monster's Ball" star reposted a clip from an appearance on "The Drew Barrymore Show," during which she declared her affection for the younger actress and said she hoped they could one day work together.
"There's an actress that I love with every fiber of my being. I love her, and I would love to play her mother," Berry said before revealing Zendaya's name. "I could play her mom, right?" Berry playfully asked the crowd.
Berry previously praised Zendaya during a 2021 Sundance Film Festival panel, calling her success "proof-positive that things are changing" for Black women in Hollywood.
Zendaya attended this year's Emmys as a nominee for outstanding lead actress in a drama series for her performance as Rue Bennett in HBO's "Euphoria."
