Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels (elbow) returned to the lineup in Week 5 against the New York Giants, and he completed 17 of 25 passes for 199 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions. He also ran nine times for 103 yards and two touchdowns.

Why it Matters: His big rushing effort will be overlooked by a clock management goof up in overtime, as time ran out, giving Washington a tie, rather than a chance at a game-winning field-goal attempt. Still, fantasy managers were pleased with the surprising rushing effort. He was wearing a brace on the left elbow he dislocated, and the good news is that he was fearless running the ball. Daniels is a low-end QB1 in fantasy leagues now that he is healthy again.
