Burger King has a new limited-time menu that is sure to make its customers go Super Saiyan.
The fast food chain unveiled the Dragon Ball Super Power Up Pack in celebration of the popular anime franchise "Dragon Ball Super." Diners can order the new items beginning Sept. 1, according to Burger King.
The menu includes:
- 10-piece chicken nuggets with new Super Saiyan Sauce: New and improved crispy chicken nuggets, made with white meat served alongside Super Saiyan Sauce – a sweet, savory and tangy teriyaki-style sauce inspired by the beloved "Dragon Ball Super" character.
- Dragon Ball Burst Lemonade: A refreshing Mango Peach Lemonade with juicy mango-flavored popping boba that brings the magic of Dragon Balls to every sip.
- Medium Fry
- Dragon Ball Super Figurine: 1 of 6 exclusive character figurines, including Goku, Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Goku, Vegeta, Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Vegeta, Piccolo, and Beerus.
The meal also includes limited-time packaging and a "Dragon Ball Super" Crown, according to Burger King.

"Dragon Ball Super has inspired generations, and this collaboration gives families a fun, unexpected way to engage with a world they love while
enjoying delicious new and innovative menu items that are fun for fans of all ages."
Kids can get in on the fun too, as Burger King is also offering a "Dragon Ball Super"-themed kids meal that includes a choice of hamburger, cheeseburger and chicken nuggets plus a side, drink, themed crown and one of six figurines, while supplies last.
Burger King serving up new and improved chicken nuggets
First, Burger King improved its Whopper, now the fast-food chain is upgrading its chicken nuggets.
Beginning Sept. 1, Burger King will be serving new chicken nuggets made with "100% white meat chicken, crispier golden breading, (and) an enhanced marinade for a juicier bite," the company said in a news release. The nuggets will now be served in a box, rather than a bag "to deliver a better experience."
Back in February, Burger King debuted an updated Whopper sandwich – informed by suggestions from customers who called or texted the fast-food chain's president Tom Curtis. That resulted in the sandwich being served on a better bun, with "better tasting mayo" and in a box.
Similarly, customer suggestions led to the new nuggets. The company's chicken nuggets were declared by customers as "rubbery," "dry" and "disappointing."
Burger King took into account "thousands of texts, calls, and comments," said Amy Alarcon, head chef for Burger King U.S. & Canada.
"Our culinary team evaluated every element of the experience, from the chicken and breading to the sauces that bring it all together," Alarcon said in a statement. "Throughout the process, we invited real Guests – including some of our toughest critics, kids – to test and refine the recipe, helping us create a nugget we believe delivers the quality, taste and experience that they have been asking for."
