The PGA Tour's FedExCup Playoffs field has been cut to 30, following the conclusion of the BMW Championship at Bellerive Country Club in St. Louis, Missouri.
While 50 golfers remained in play to start the week, several notable names were among the 20 eliminated.
Kurt Kitayama and J.T. Poston were among the first two players to just miss the cut, finishing in 31st and 32nd, respectively.
Kitayama was recently above the cut line in 28th place but slid three spots during the week and out of contention. He finished the second event of the playoffs in a tie for 26th after shooting 4-under for the weekend.
Poston shot 5-under for the weekend to finish ahead of Kitayama and tie for 22nd. Poston's result was not enough to move up in the standings.
Wyndham
Clark won this weekend's tournament after finishing at 17-under, followed by Patrick Cantlay (-14) and Rory McIlroy (-13).
The FedExCup Playoffs conclude with the Tour Championship, which takes place from Aug. 27-Aug. 30 at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia.
