Al-Ettifaq hosts defending champion Al-Nassr on Tuesday at the Al-Ettifaq Club Stadium in Dammam, a fixture featuring both sides under new management.
Al-Ettifaq turned to Australian Arthur Papas over the summer, replacing Saad Al-Shehri after a mid-table finish that came with a berth in the GFF Gulf Club Champions League.
Winger Khalid Al-Ghannam is the player to watch for the hosts. He finished second in the league last season for goal contributions.

Al-Nassr comes in as champion for the first time in seven years with Ange Postecoglou taking over after Jorge Jesus left following the title.
The Australian ended Tottenham's trophy drought with the 2024-25 Europa League before a brief and unsuccessful stint
at Nottingham Forest. He now inherits a squad built around Cristiano Ronaldo, João Félix, Sadio Mané and Kingsley Coman.
Al-Nassr owns the head-to-head advantage, but Al-Ettifaq drew this same fixture at home last season and has won or drawn four of the last five meetings at the EGO Stadium.
Al-Ettifaq vs. Al-Nassr prediction, pick
Al-Nassr has more talent across the board and Postecoglou will want an early win. The visitors get the three points.
Prediction: Al-Ettifaq 1, Al-Nassr 2
