Jeff Lewis is offering an update on the upcoming expiration of his SiriusXM contract.
On a recent episode of his radio show "Jeff Lewis Live," the "Still Flipping Out" star, 56, said his time at the broadcasting corporation would be coming to an end on Oct. 18 if they are not able to reach a deal to renew his contract.
Lewis recently opened up about the situation in an exclusive interview with USA TODAY, explaining there has been a lot of back-and-forth.
"The contract is up Sunday, my last day is Friday, [Oct. 16]," he says. "They made an offer, I countered. They made another offer, I countered. Now the ball's in their court."

"Look, I'm encouraged. I don't think they want to see me go. I, frankly, don't want to go. I think we will work it out,"
he continues. "I wish it just didn't have to be this way. I wish it could be a little bit of an easier negotiation. But it's been that way, particularly the last two times before this, where I know my worth, I know my value, I know how big that show is and I know that show is important to them. So I'm kind of digging my heels in the sand."
Lewis adds that he believes he "truly" is "being very reasonable with my number – I'm not being crazy." He further notes that he is "in this for the long run" and is mindful not to "out-price" himself.
"I think that is dangerous when you out-price yourself, because you're the first person that's going to go," he says. "I don't want to be the highest paid person at SiriusXM, because I don't want to be the first person that goes."
USA TODAY has reached out to a spokesperson at SiriusXM for comment, but has not received a response.
Lewis started on Sirius XM's "Radio Andy" in 2017 with a once-a-week program before it expanded to a two-hour daily broadcast. At the time, he was also starring in his Bravo reality series "Flipping Out," which concluded in 2018 after more than a decade. Through his time on the show, he earned a reputation for his strong personality and not being afraid to speak his mind.
Last month, Lewis made his return to television with the spinoff series "Still Flipping Out," documenting the ins-and-outs of his personal and professional life running an interior design business and hosting his radio show alongside his team of cohosts, whom he calls the "Chumps."
This time around, Lewis tells USA TODAY he went into the season a "calmer," more "evolved" version of himself, but notes, "It's still me."
"I feel like I am who I am, and if you get me, great. If you don't get me, it's okay," he says. "I'm more about being respected than liked, and I do at this age realize that you can't please everyone. The people that know me, like truly know me, I think care about me [and] I think love me. It's just that I'm a little bit complicated, and I have high expectations."
"Still Flipping Out" airs Mondays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo, and can be streamed the next day on Peacock.
