The long awaited Saucony Endorphin Speed 6 running shoe drop has finally arrived, just in time for the fall running season.
The Endorphin Speed 6 officially released today, Thursday, Oct. 15, as the brand's latest edition on the Endorphin Speed line boasts more cushion, bounce, smoothness and speed.
“As we've refreshed every model within the Endorphin franchise this year, our goal has remained the same: help runners unlock their potential by making running fast feel easier and more enjoyable,” said Brian Moore, Chief Product Officer at Saucony.

As a longtime runner
myself who's in the midst of some light race training, I was pretty stoked to try a pair of the highly touted running shoes.

What I like about the Saucony Endorphin Speed 6 running shoes
Before getting into the technical and performance aspect, the Endorphin Speed 6s are a work of art. As someone who enjoys running shoes that pop, the combination of the lime green neon accent is a great touch that makes you excited to put them on.
While I've been a runner for as long as I can remember, I've never had a Saucony shoe for everyday mileage. Needless to say, I was extremely curious, given their strong track record (no pun intended).
After testing, I can say my younger, track-running self would be extremely envious. The responsiveness, tied in with 2mm of extra PWRUN PBX superfoam, makes for quick, springy and smooth movement. That in turn, makes this speed junky feel faster than I probably am.
The Speed 6s feature a new nylon plate for flexibility and enhanced propulsion, which helps push your feet and legs forward, almost spring-like so your ride is smooth and fast, which helps physically and mentally.
Regardless of the surface you're running on, you're going to get a strong get-off that galvanizes your every step. Even when enduring longer workouts, that energy remains the same, and provides a big boost.
Is the Saucony Endorphin Speed 6 a good running shoe?
Absolutely! I'd highly recommend the Saucony Endorphin Speed 6 for any runner, whether you're newly logging daily miles or training for competitions.
From a comfort standpoint, they check every box as well. I've never experienced a lighter foam, so I was fearful of a cheap feel. However, even with walking, the Speed 6s are a joy to stroll in and keep your feet happy in the right areas.
