Texans dreaming of a Paris getaway will soon have a much easier way to get there — no layovers required.
Delta Airlines is launching Austin's first-ever nonstop service to Paris-Charles de Gaulle,becoming the only U.S. airline to offer nonstop service from Austin to Europe, the airline announced in an Aug. 13 news release. The daily service will operate in the summerseason starting March 27, 2027, onDelta's Airbus A330-900.
The nonstop flight will be approximately 10 hours, with flights departing from Austin mid-afternoon and arriving in Paris mid-morning local time.
"Austin's growth continues to create new opportunities for customers, and Delta is proud to grow alongside it," said Delta's Executive Vice President Joe Esposito. "Launching Austin's first
nonstop service to Paris is a defining milestone, but it's just one part of our broader investment in the region."
“Austin and Paris are united by a spirit of culture, creativity, and discovery, and this new route will bring our communities closer together while creating new opportunities for people to experience all that makes our city special," Austin Mayor Kirk Watson said in the news release.
Austin travelers can also enjoy extensive connectivity beyond Europe, Delta added.
Delta is partnering with Air France and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines to offer up to 10 weekly nonstop flights between Austin and Europe during peak summer, with service to both Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Amsterdam.
From Paris, travlers can connect seamlessly to destinations across Europe, India and Africa on Air France.
