Four weeks into the NFL season, and the league will be playing a game on its fourth continent.
The European leg of this year's international football foray begins Sunday morning (9:30 a.m. ET), when the Indianapolis Colts and Washington Commanders clash in London. That will be the second matchup of the Week 4 docket, which kicks off Thursday night in Cleveland, where the Browns will host the Pittsburgh Steelers with at least a share of first place atop the AFC North hanging in the balance.
Sunday afternoon's notable games include the battle of Texas, though the Dallas Cowboys (1-2) and Houston Texans (0-3) both find themselves in dire straits in the Lone Star State. The Los Angeles Rams are headed east to play the Eagles in what they hope isn't
a third consecutive heartbreaking defeat in Philadelphia. The Kansas City Chiefs will face the Raiders in Las Vegas in a battle of unbeatens virtually no one anticipated. Yet the game of the day might be staged between a pair of Rams killers as the San Francisco 49ers welcome in the Denver Broncos.
The Sunday night game will feature the Carolina Panthers for the first time in a decade as the Detroit Lions pay them a a visit in Charlotte.
Finally, Monday could stir a torrent of emotions in New Orleans almost exactly 20 years after the Saints returned to the Superdome in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina to host the Atlanta Falcons, who will again be their opponent on "Monday Night Football."
