Angel Reese will now live up to her "Bayou Barbie" nickname, thanks to her very own Mattel doll.
Barbie is launching a doll in the WNBA star's likeness, the company announced July 24.
The Barbie includes a pink uniform, basketball and sneakers based on Reese's signature Reebok shoes
. The Mattel-owned brand also said it collaborated with Reebok on Angel Reese 1 basketball shoes in a new Barbie-inspired pink.In a statement, the Atlanta Dream forward said having her own Barbie is "a true dream come true for me."
"I hope this doll reminds girls to be unapologetically themselves, embrace every part of who they are, and go after their dreams with confidence," Reese said.
The Reese-inspired doll was seemingly destined by her longtime nickname "Bayou Barbie."
The moniker, which dates back to Reese's college days at Louisiana State University, is a nod to both the school's proximity to the marshy water bodies as well as her bold fashion sense.

The Angel Reese Barbie Signature doll is available for purchase starting July 24.
Fans can purchase the Barbie in-person at Target stores or online at Target, Walmart, Amazon and Mattel Shop.
The doll has a suggested retail price of $38.
Separately, Reebok's Angel Reese 1 Barbie basketball shoes will be available to purchase on Aug. 3 at 10 a.m. ET at Reebok.com, as well as at Dick's Sporting Goods and Foot Locker.
Barbie debuting Angel Reese doll at WNBA All-Star Weekend
Barbie said it is also teaming up with Reebok to debut the doll and matching sneakers at WNBA All-Star Weekend, the company said.
They will be at a pop-up called TOGETHXR House hosted by women's sports media company TOGETHXR, of which Reese is a co-owner.
The site, which will be open on July 24 and 25, will feature the "Angel Reese Dream Closet," which will include the Barbie, sneakers and a life-size Barbie box.
There will also be limited-edition apparel, which Reese worked with Barbie on creating, including a custom jersey, tees and headwear inspired by the Angel Reese Barbie's look.
If fans can't make it to the Dream Closet in person, Barbie said the apparel will be available for purchase on Reese's website at TheAngelReese.com.
