The "Law & Order: SVU" star was all-smiles as she posed for photographs in a fire-hydrant-red gown.
Hargitay and her daughter Amaya, 15, appeared to channel cartoon character Jessica Rabbit with their matching looks, complete with sequins and red heels.
Hargitay and Amaya were joined on the carpet by Hargitay's husband Peter Hermann and sons Miklos and Andrew, who all donned classic tuxedos with matching black bow ties.
Hargitay was just one of many stars seen rocking red ahead of the 78th Emmy Awards.
Cailee Spaeny, Cynthia Nixon, Taylor Dearden, Niecy Nash-Betts, Jackie Tohn, Krys Marshall and Fiona Dourif were among the stars spotted wearing variations of the primary color.
