Sombr came back to many friends when he surprised a group of fans at the 14th Street-Union Square subway stop in New York Oct. 29.
The “Homewrecker” heartthrob, sporting ripped jeans and shades, sauntered in flanked by police and followed by a crowd of phone-waving Sombr enthusiasts. Dozens of devotees crowded the makeshift performance area yelling out, “You saved my life!” and “Can I have a picture?”
The budding singing star – and native New Yorker - ignored the noise and smiled with a thumbs up as he asked the shrieking throng, “How we doing, guys?”
With the help of a keyboardist and several background singers, Sombr launched into a soulful version of is “My Body Isn’t Ready.”
