The Wolverines open the 2026 college football season against Western Michigan on Saturday, Sept. 5 at 7:30 p.m. ET at "The Big House." The team then welcomes Oklahoma to Ann Arbor in Week 2.
When is Michigan vs. Ohio State?
"The Game" between Michigan and Ohio State is, as always, the regular season finale, this year held on Saturday, Nov. 28 at noon ET in Columbus, Ohio.
Ohio State won last year's rivalry game after Michigan won four straight, dating back to 2021.

The in-state rivalry game and fight for the Paul Bunyan Trophy is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 7. The Wolverines have won the last four meetings.
