The fourth Thursday night of the 2026 season will feature the third edition of "Thursday Night Football" this year.
Thanks to the quirk of the Week 1 game in Australia taking place on a Thursday, the opener to the Week 4 slate is just the third time Al Michaels, Kirk Herbstreit and the rest of the Amazon Prime crew will be on call for a game.
The first matchup for the regular "Thursday Night Football" broadcast featured the first regular-season game (and win) for the Buffalo Bills at their new Highmark Stadium. The second featured the first home-opening loss for the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field since 2012. What's in store this week?
Home teams are now 1-1 across the first two "Thursday Night Football" games of the year. Here's what to know

Is there a Thursday Night Football game tonight?
Yes, there is a "Thursday Night Football" game on Oct. 1.
The Cleveland Browns will host the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Week 4 edition of "Thursday Night Football." The first game of this week's slate will serve as something of a battle for first place in the AFC North, as all four teams enter Week 4 with a 2-1 record.
Pittsburgh is coming off of a win in its first divisional game of the year: a 30-27 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals. The Steelers' defense cemented the team's second win at home with a strip sack of Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow.
The Browns are 2-0 in their last two games after a Week 1 loss to the Jaguars. Rookie receivers Denzel Boston and KC Concepcion are leading the way for the passing offense – the former leads the team with 195 yards, the latter leads the team's receivers with 12 catches.
This week's "TNF" game is scheduled for its usual kickoff time of 8:15 p.m. ET and will air nationally on Amazon Prime Video. Local fans for each team will be able to watch the game on a local cable network.
