Mahomes just shredded Indianapolis for 382 yards and three touchdowns, tossing missiles all over the field, while Kenneth Walker III has been electric, piling up 369 yards from scrimmage through two games. The Chiefs look like the dynasty is back on track, and that's not a train I'm willing to get in front of right now. Miami has already lost its first two games by an average of 18 points and now faces this rejuvenated Kansas City squad. A double-digit spread leaves room for a backdoor cover, but the Dolphins haven't shown enough to trust them here.

The letdown spot for the Chiefs was last week, following their demolition of the Broncos in Week 1. Kansas City still got the job done, even if it didn't cover. Fortunately for everyone involved, it's back to business as usual in Week 3 against the lifeless Miami Dolphins. It has typically been a good strategy to fade teams coming in off an overtime game. Those teams aren't usually playing the 2026 Dolphins, though, who are losing by an average of 18 points per game so far this season.
