No. 7 Alabama will aim to rebound from a gutting 20-17 loss to No. 1 Georgia when it heads north to take on No. 14 Tennessee in the latest edition of the "Third Saturday in October."
The Crimson Tide may have to face that challenge without one of their best players.
The playing status of Alabama wide receiver Ryan Coleman-Williams is uncertain after the junior standout suffered a pair of injuries in the loss to the Bulldogs, including a hit to his head on a vicious hit in the fourth quarter.
Will Coleman-Williams be able to take the field for the Tide when they run out onto the field at Neyland Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 17?

Ryan Coleman-Williams injury update
During a news conference on Monday, Oct. 12, Alabama coach Kalen DeBoer said there's a "good chance" the Tide won't have Coleman-Williams for their top-15 matchup with Tennessee.
"Ryan Coleman-Williams has a couple things going on to work through, an injury with his knee, we'll deal with that," DeBoer said. "Has the head issue, as well. We'll address that this week."
Coleman-Williams initially was injured in the second quarter, when he rose up in the end zone on an attempted catch for a touchdown. After the play, he tried getting up before going back down to the turf while showcasing visible signs of pain. He was helped off the field by the Alabama training staff and was seen on the sideline trying to avoid putting weight on his left leg.
He returned to the game for the Tide's opening series of the second half and remained in the contest until the fourth quarter, when he attempted to make a catch before being hit in the helmet by Georgia safety KJ Bolden, who appeared to lower his head to make the tackle. The ball was dislodged, though officials did not flag Bolden for a targeting penalty.
Coleman-Williams left the game and underwent evaluation.
It's the second concussion since the start of last season for Coleman-Williams, who missed some time early in the 2025 season after suffering a head injury in a season-opening loss a Florida State. A freshman All-American in 2024, Coleman-Williams leads all Alabama receivers with 23 catches for 415 yards and four touchdowns this season.
