Spoiler alert! We're discussing important plot points from the new documentary “You Can See Everything,” so beware if you haven’t seen it yet.
Amanda Seyfried's latest red carpet interview left even the actress questioning her own answer.
The actress, 40, offered a philosophical response when The Hollywood Reporter asked about her life at the Oct. 17 Academy Museum Gala
in Los Angeles, describing it as "interesting."When the reporter acknowledged that interviews were difficult at the moment, she agreed, adding that it was "for a good reason."
"I don't know, I think everything that's happening is meant to happen [and] everything, everyone that's in your life is meant to be in your life," the actress went on. "That's just, kind of – and I'm here
tonight. I'm meant to be here, and I get to go home tomorrow and I'm meant to be home and so on and so forth."
Given that the actress seemed hesitant to openly talk about certain topics, the reporter asked her what she could speak about, to which she had an interesting response.
"I like to talk about the emus. I like to talk about Halloween. And you can engage with me if you want to talk about all things having to do with apple pie and olives and really good hard ciders," she answered.
Since clips of the interview went up on social media, they've garnered a lot of traction, particularly from concerned fans – and even Seyfried herself.
The actress commented "what AM I even saying," under the outlet's Instagram post sharing a clip of the interview.
Others called out the reporter for pushing an interview despite the turbulent time in the actress' personal life, referring to the recent news of her split from husband of nine years, Thomas Sadoski.
One user @leesakolter commented, "they would literally never to this to a man who is going though a divorce," which garnered over 27,000 likes.

Why Elizabeth Holmes came up in Amanda Seyfried's interviews
The interviews coincided with the release of "You Can See Everything," Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim's documentary about Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes. The film, which opened Oct. 16, begins 34 days before Holmes reported to prison.
Seyfried, who won an Emmy and Golden Globe for playing Holmes in Hulu's 2022 series "The Dropout," makes a surprise appearance. She portrays Holmes again in re-creations of conversations Fielder could not film.
Reporters likely kept their questions vague to avoid revealing that part of the movie. In a separate interview with Variety from the same event, she told them that she did not expect a second season of "The Dropout," but added "life is long," indicating that anything could happen.

Amanda Seyfried recently discussed split from Thomas Sadoski
The gala appearance came about a month after Seyfried and Sadoski announced their separation. The pair, who married in 2017, said in a statement to Peoplethat the decision had been right for their family. The former couple share two children, daughter Nina, 9, and son Thomas Jr, 5.
"We have been separated for a while, and it's proven to be the right move for us and our family unit. We've got each other forever – and it's GOOD," the couple said in their statement.
Soon after the divorce was announced, Seyfried opened up about how co-parenting was going well and that she and Sadoski remained close in an interview with USA TODAY.
"He and I share the same feelings about what it means to be family," she said.
She also told USA TODAY that a third "Mamma Mia!" movie felt "inevitable," although there was no script yet. Seyfried said she wanted her character, Sophie, to have another child and possibly remarry.
"We just have to figure out how to get Meryl in there," Seyfried says. "So if anyone has any ideas, that would be helpful," she told USA TODAY.
