Washington Commanders QB Jayden Daniels completed 16 of his 29 passes for 217 yards and a touchdown against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 8. He also ran twice for 23 yards.

Why It Matters: It was a quiet night for Daniels, who only ran the ball two times and accounted for just one total TD. Given how poorly Philadelphia's offense was playing, not a lot was needed. Still, considering that this was the first extended look we've gotten at the Commanders offense without Terry McLaurin (knee), I wouldn't say what we saw was particularly encouraging. Daniels' running ability makes him a tough player to remove from your lineup, but he needs to do more than he did Sunday night to maintain his status as a solid QB1.
