Kelly Osbourne is revealing one of her late father Ozzy Osbourne's famous friends introduced her to hard drugs at an early age.
The TV personality, 41, made the revelation in the new documentary "If These Walls Could Rock," which examines the rock 'n' roll history of West Hollywood's Sunset Marquis hotel.
"I did my first line of cocaine in this hotel … which was given to me by one of my dad’s friends in a very, very, very big band," Osbourne says in the documentary.
Osbourne did not identify the person who gave her the drug, but she said she never told her parents because she believed they would have been furious and "kill him" for doing so.
The admission was part of Osbourne's
reflection on growing up around the famous hotel, where she also experienced her first drink and first kiss. Her family stayed at the Sunset Marquis during summers when Ozzy Osbourne toured the United States, before the Osbournes established a permanent home in Los Angeles.
Kelly described the hotel as one of the few places where her father felt at home. Osbourne described the iconic venue as "the only hotel that my dad could stay in, at the time, where my dad could be himself."
"We'd be kicked out of everywhere, but not the Sunset Marquis," she said. "My dad could misbehave politely here."
Sharon Osbourne also appears in the documentary, recalling how her husband enjoyed walking through the hotel's gardens and talking to people staying in its bungalows.
"He would love it here because he could wander. He could wander around outside in the garden. In those days he'd smoke," said Sharon. "It was like you were in your own home with a lot of friends."
Ozzy Osbourne died July 22, 2025, at age 76. His death came weeks after he reunited with the original members of Black Sabbath for a farewell performance in Birmingham, England.
Kelly Osbourne has spoken out about the physical toll of grieving her father, revealing that she "didn't navigate it" in the months following his death. "I wasn't well," Osbourne told Hello! Magazine.
In recent months, Kelly Osbourne has continuously addressed the backlash and comments about her weight, referring to the comments as a "special kind of cruelty."
