San Diego Padres infielder Luis Rengifo suffered a leg injury during a game against the Tampa Bay Rays on Saturday, Aug. 29.
Rengifo was carted off the field after attempting to throw to home plate in the bottom of the seventh inning.
The throw was off target and went past home plate. Rengifo could not put weight on his right leg and was clearly in pain.
