The Golden State Valkyries were back at the Chase Center in San Francisco just 24 hours after winning the WNBA championship.
Gabby Williams and the Valkyries beat the Atlanta Dream, 68-63, in Game 7 to win the franchise’s first championship in just its second season on Oct. 31.
The team was honored during a timeout of the game between the Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Clippers on Nov. 1.
The Valkyries brought out the championship trophy and stood at midcourt to be recognized before participating in a t-shirt toss for the fans.
“That was the best night of my life,” Williams said.
