Martin Ødegaard's goal in the 72nd minute broke a scoreless deadlock between Arsenal and Hull City on Saturday, a huge moment for the Gunners as they try to defend their Premier League title.
Ødegaard pounced on a rebound after Hull goalkeeper Konstantinos Tzolakis made a save on a shot from Noni Madueke to put the opening goal in the back of the net at the Emirates Stadium in London. The Gunners had struggled to break through for more than an hour against newly-promoted Hull.
It was the Arsenal captain's third goal of the Premier League season.
