Week 6 of the 2026 NFL season kicks off with a good-looking game − literally and figuratively.
Call it a Super Bowl 48 rematch, call it the Russell Wilson Bowl − or don't! − but "Thursday Night Football" will feature what might be the matchup of the weekend, the 2025 Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks visiting the almost 2025 AFC champion Broncos in Denver. Both teams enter this heavyweight contest with 3-2 records after playing fairly rigorous schedules that include a competitive loss each to the undefeated San Francisco 49ers. Thursday's game could be a showdown of elite defenses trying to shut down offenses in some level of transition.
(And it will certainly be the uniform matchup of the weekend − and likely the season − as these former AFC
West rivals throw it back to the 1970s and '80s.)

Sunday will dawn with another Jacksonville Jaguars game in London, the Houston Texans the opponent this time at Wembley Stadium. QB Caleb Williams could be back as the Atlanta Falcons host the Chicago Bears later in the day, which will also feature the Buffalo Bills playing another game on the West Coast, this one against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Sunday night's showcase will pit the Dallas Cowboys against the Green Bay Packers, though OLB Micah Parsons is not yet physically ready to face his former team and fulfill a juicy revenge narrative for the second straight season. Monday, the Niners will try to improve to 6-0 when they face the Washington Commanders in Silicon Valley.
Here's how our panel of experts see things shaking out ... after a rough Week 5 showing.
