The U.S. men's national team looks to make it a perfect four-for-four in the international window when it faces Canada on Tuesday, Oct. 6.
The USMNT beat Peru 4-1 in Orlando on Sept. 26, then followed that win up with a 4-2 triumph over Chilethree days later in St. Louis. But the team's biggest win came Oct. 3 when it thrashed arch-rival Mexico 3-0.
Mauricio Pochettino has enjoyed plenty of success with a youthful roster in this window, the first after the 2026 World Cup. The USMNT coach has already given 12 players their first caps, eight of whom are teenagers.
Pochettino has been consistently trotting out lineups with a mix of newcomers and stalwarts, and that is likely to continue at Allianz Field in St. Paul, Minnesota.
But Pochettino will also
be wary about managing players' minutes amid an extended four-game international window.
That could lead to plenty of rotation on Tuesday in a rivalry game Pochettino will still be keen to win.
Here's how the USMNT could line up against Canada:
USMNT projected starting lineup vs. Canada
- Goalkeeper: Matt Freese
- Defenders: Alex Freeman, Neil Pierre, Chris Richards, Peyton Miller
- Holding midfielders: Yunus Musah, Brooklyn Raines
