Ohio State football's 2026 season hasn't gone how anyone expected it to, least of all its passionate, scarlet-and-gray-clad fanbase with justifiably high expectations for its beloved program.
And they let the Buckeyes hear it on Saturday, Nov. 7.
With No. 10 Ohio State trailing Oregon 24-14 in the third quarter of their Week 10 matchup at Ohio Stadium, boos echoed inside the famed Horseshoe, with Buckeyes fans voicing their displeasure at what they were witnessing.
The jeers came after a string of several different plays, including on second-and-10, when a screen pass to running back Bo Jackson resulted in a 5-yard loss; a snap that sailed over the head
of quarterback Luke Fahey on a third-and-15; and a Fahey incomplete pass on a fourth-and-2 from the Ohio State 42-yard line.

The Buckeyes were the preseason No. 1 team in the US LBM Coaches Poll and, just one week ago, were No. 2, even without injured starting quarterback Julian Sayin. But a 30-18 loss at USC dropped them to 6-2 on the season. If they're unable to pull off a frantic fourth-quarter comeback, they'll fall to 6-3 and likely find themselves out of College Football Playoff contention.
Ohio State hasn't lost three regular-season games since 2011, when it was under the leadership of interim head coach Luke Fickell.
