There is no movement at the top of the Midwest Region rankings for a third week in a row.
After flipping the No. 1 spot four times in six weeks in the 2026 high school football season, Brownsburg (IN) remains the top team in USA TODAY Sports' Midwest rankings, according to the latest USA TODAY Sports Week Super 25 rankings.
The Bulldogs pushed their winning streak to 25 games with a dominant win over rival Westfield (IN).
Here are USA TODAY Sports' Week 7 Midwest Region Super 15 rankings.
1. Brownsburg (IN)
Record: 6-0
Next game: Friday, Oct. 2, at Zionsville (IN), 7 p.m. ET
Brownsburg continues to dominate the Midwest Region, top-ranking with another big win last week, this time over rival Westfield (IN), 38-14, to push its winning streak to 25 straight games. The
Bulldogs scored the final 24 points after the game was tied 14-14 at halftime to pull away for the victory.
2. Massillon (Washington, OH)
Record: 5-0
Next game: Friday, Oct. 2, vs. Farrell (PA), 7 p.m. ET
Massillon maintains the No. 2 spot in the rankings and got a much-needed open week last Friday. The Tigers have averaged 34.2 points per game in 2026, while holding their opponents to just 12.4 points per game. Running back Savior Owens has 481 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns.
3. Trinity (Louisville, KY)
Record: 5-1
Next game: Friday, Oct. 2, vs. St. Xavier (OH), 7 p.m. ET
It's not deja vu, but Trinity will face off against a St. Xavier a second straight time this week after beating St. Xavier (IN) 44-0 last week. This week, the St. Xavier from Ohio could be a bigger challenge, as the Bombers are coming off a 31-29 win over Elder (OH).
4. East St. Louis (IL)
Record: 5-1
Next game: Friday, Oct. 2, at Belleville West (IL), 7 p.m. CT
The Flyers dominated Edwardsville (IL) 35-0 to move to 5-1 on the season. East St. Louis has outscored its opponents 254-84 this football season, including 226-50 in its wins. The lone loss for the Flyers was a seven-point overtime loss to American Heritage.
5. Bishop Watterson (OH)
Record: 6-0
Next game: Friday, Oct. 9, at Bishop Hartley (OH), 7 p.m. ET
Bishop Watterson extended its winning streak to 36 straight games with a 32-0 win over St. Francis DeSales on Friday. Watterson rushed for 310 yards in the victory, with running back Caden Mangini leading the way with 114 rushing yards.
6. Detroit Catholic Central (Novi, MI)
Record: 5-0
Next game: Saturday, Oct. 3, vs. Central Catholic (IL), 1:30 p.m. ET
The Shamrocks defense continues to amaze through the early part of the 2026 season. Detroit Catholic Central earned a 36-3 win over St. John's Jesuit (OH) on Friday, and has not allowed just 4.8 points per game to its opponents on the season.
7. Cass Tech (Detroit, MI)
Record: 5-0
Next game: Friday, Oct. 2, vs. Western International (MI), 5 p.m. ET
For the first time this season, Cass Tech was held under 40 points, but that did not matter as its defense picked up the offense in a 20-7 win over rival King (MI). Peyton Robinson secured the game-winning interception late for the Technicians.
8. St. Edward (Lakewood, OH)
Record: 5-1
Next game: Friday, Oct. 2, at St. Ignatius (OH), 7 p.m. ET
Langston Lucas found his 6-foot-4 tight end Joe Moore on a 70-yard Hail Mary pass with 35 seconds to secure the game-winning touchdown in a 22–21 victory over Washington D.C.'s St. John's College. St. Edward lost the week prior on a failed Hail Mary.
9. Big Walnut (Sunbury, OH)
Record: 6-0
Next game: Friday, Oct. 2, vs. Worthington Kilbourne (OH), 7 p.m. ET
Michigan State quarterback commit Eli Stumpf completed 24 of 29 passes for 300 yards and three touchdowns, while adding 81 rushing yards and two more scores rushing, in a comeback 47-40 overtime victory for Big Walnut over rival Ironton.
10. Millard South (Omaha, NE)
Record: 5-0
Next game: Friday, Oct. 2, at Millard West (NE), 7 p.m. CT
Millard South held off Omaha North in a back-and-forth thriller last week. Nebraska commit Trae Taylor stole the show with a big performance, putting up 428 total yards and seven touchdowns (four passing and three rushing) in the victory.
11. Anderson (Cincinnati, OH)
Record: 5-1
Next game: Friday, Oct. 2, vs. Turpin (OH), 7 p.m. ET
Anderson dominated Milford 58-14 behind a huge performance from quarterback Owen Scalf, who finished 26-of-30 passing for 433 yards and five touchdowns. His go-to target was Jordan Davis, who had eight grabs for 177 yards and a touchdown.
12. Warren Central (Indianapolis, IN)
Record: 6-0
Next game: Friday, Oct. 2, vs. Lawrence North (IN), 7 p.m. ET
The big lights at a massive venue did not slow down Warren Central, as it earned a dominant 35-0 win over Pike at Lucas Oil Stadium — the home of the NFL's Indianapolis Colts — during the Circle City Classic.
13. Princeton (Cincinnati, OH)
Record: 6-0
Next game: Friday, Oct. 2, vs. Mason (OH), 7 p.m. ET
Running back Jordan Hall put on a show during Princeton's 48-22 win over Lakota East. The tailback finished with 140 rushes and four touchdowns on 14 touches, while quarterback Key'Sean Torbert added 227 passing yards, 130 rushing yards and two scores.
14. Elder (Cincinnati, OH)
Record: 5-1
Next game: Friday, Oct. 2, at Archbishop Moeller (OH), 7 p.m. ET
Elder dropped its first game of the 2026 season, a 31-29 loss to St. Xavier (OH). The Bombers connected on a game-winning field goal from 25 yards out as the game clock expired to pull off the upset. Despite the loss, quarterback Kaden Estep finished with 236 yards and three touchdowns.
15. Loyola Academy (Wilmette, IL)
Record: 6-0
Next game: Saturday, Oct. 3, at Saint Ignatius (IL), 1:30 p.m. CT
With a 6-0 start to the season, the Ramblers debut in the top-15 rankings for the Midwest Region this week. Loyola Academy is coming off a 42-12 win over Marist and is now 6-0 on the season. The 42 points were a season high, but the fourth time the Ramblers have won a game by 30 points or more.
