Kansas made history this summer, joining 23 other states in officially sanctioning flag football as a high school varsity sport. As new athletes across the state gear up for the inaugural season, Kansas is helping make the sport one of the fastest-growing sports in the country.
Now, the flag football season is officially underway, and teams across the state are showing off the talent they have to offer.
With some teams already off to undefeated starts and others still waiting to take the field, the season is just beginning — and there is plenty of football left to be played.
