The Los Angeles Rams got the better of their crosstown counterparts on Sunday.
One of the key performers in the 24-9 victory win over the Los Angeles Chargers didn't hold back in his assessment of quarterback Justin Herbert, who threw two interceptions to push his league-leading total to 10.
"He was throwing deli meat out there," Rams safety Quentin Lake said on the St. Brown Podcast, sparking laughter from co-hosts Amon-Ra St. Brown and Equanimeous St. Brown. "He's seeing ghosts. ... I don't know what's going on, but we knew we were going to get a couple (of interceptions) – at least one."
Lake notched the first of the two interceptions in the first quarter when he jumped an out route to tight end Charlie Kolar, whom Herbert appeared to stare
down. Lake ran the ball back 45 yards to set up an eventual 30-yard field goal by Brandon McManus.

Herbert again was intercepted when targeting Kolar in the third quarter, this time by Rams cornerback Trent McDuffie.
Now 0-7, the Chargers have gone 27 consecutive offensive possessions without scoring a touchdown.
"It's not a familiar position for any of the guys in our locker room," Harbaugh said Sunday in a postgame news conference. "We're the only ones who can change it, and we're highly motivated and dedicated to doing that."
Herbert took accountability for the continued turnovers.
"It's bad decisions, poor mistakes by me," Herbert said in a postgame news conference. "It's something I have to clean up."
