Katseye delivered the tunes at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, but their performance is striking a sour note with some fans.
The Grammy-nominated girl group, which currently consists of Daniela Avanzini, Lara Raj, Megan Skiendiel and Yoonchae Jeung, is dividing fans online following their appearance at the fashion extravaganza on Sunday, Oct. 18.
The group, alongside fellow performers Megan Thee Stallion, Tate McRae and Megan Moroney, took to the stage for the star-studded show, performing their hits "Animal" and "Pinky Up" as Victoria's Secret Angels strutted around them on the runway.
But the group's appearance quickly drew criticism on social media, with some viewers questioning their choreography and onstage chemistry.
"All those 14 hours
of rehearsals, and they still can't walk in sync…" @pinkmanzie wrote on X.
"No glue holding them together, no cohesion, zero chemistry and every one of them trying to outshine the other," @harissatotally wrote. "Katseye is a mess."
"Katseye is now just Lara and Dani trying to upstage each other while Yoonchae and Megan dance in the background," another X user wrote.
Some critics even suggested that the rising pop stars take note from veteran girl group Destiny's Child, who reunited with former lead singer Beyoncé during the finale of her Cowboy Carter Tour in 2025.
"I WISHHH Katseye was able to walk in sync like Destiny's Child… and they're very capable considering some of their best performances," @castlecamcam wrote. "These are the building blocks, please work on this."
Despite the criticism, other fans took to the comments section to defend Katseye's performances, praising the girl group for their stage prowess and style.
"Katseye's performance was perfect for what [Victoria's Secret] PINK represents: youth, carefree, girly and pink," @a2kcami wrote.
"Katseye, no one is doing it like you," @Eyekonduh wrote.
"Katseye had the most sickening looks and performance of the night, which resulted in numerous hit tweets dragging them," @jelaskats wrote. "Y'all stay talking about these girls, and THAT'S why they're the biggest [girl group] in the world, thank ya."
