Packages of mini doughnuts sold nationwide are being recalled after a consumer reported an allergic reaction in connection with the treats.
According to U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the Better Bakehouse Snack Company is recalling certain lots of Donutful Chocolate Dipped Vanilla Cake Donuts because the product may contain "undeclared milk." People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product, the agency said.
The recalled doughnuts are limited to a specific lot of product manufactured and distributed in March 2026, according to the FDA, and the product was shipped to retailers nationwide and through Amazon.
The individual who suffered the allergic
reaction has fully recovered, and the manufacturer has identified the cause of the mislabeling issue and has taken corrective measures, the FDA said in its recall report.

What should consumers do if they have the recalled doughnuts?
The FDA says consumers should dispose of the affected product and obtain a refund from their point of purchase with a receipt or return the product for a refund.
