Jelly Roll is celebrating his weight loss – and taking a dig at President Donald Trump in the process.
The country star is guest hosting "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" for the week, his second time stepping in for the comedian and taking on the role of political commentator.
The "I Need a Favor" singer covered the president attending the Freedom 250 Grand Prix, though "sadly, those are the only laps Trump's been doing lately," he quipped.
"According to the Washington Post, a lot of doctors are worried about the president's weight," the singer, 41, said on the Aug. 24 episode. "After his last physical, we found out Trump gained 14 pounds, which means he's now tipping the scales at almost 240. It's crazy."
As for himself, he recently hit a new weight loss milestone.
"Think about this, y'all. In the last few years, I've lost 300 pounds. That means I've lost an entire Donald Trump," Jelly Roll said. "And let's be honest, based on his approval ratings, it seems like most of the country wants to do the same thing."
But the "Son of a Sinner" singer said his comments on Trump's weight are no worse than comments the president has made about others.
"We shouldn't be making fun of the president for his weight because we know that he would never do that to other people," he said, before playing several clips of Trump calling people "fat slobs" and "fat pigs."
"If that ain't the pot calling the kettle fat. Well, Mr. President, from one fat pig to another, take it from me that physical fitness is very important. And trust me, you'll be happy to see your" manhood again, he added.
The rapper has been on a yearslong healthy journey since he weighed over 500 pounds back in 2024. He has also been open about the highs and lows of his journey, including shifting his mindset and running into setbacks. In July, he opened up on his vlog about how some of his stress-eating tendencies have resurfaced.
"I can't have one anything. What I learned is, how you do anything is how you do everything," he said at the time, comparing his habit to drinking alcohol or doing drugs, where he can't do things in moderation. "I can't. It might be a five-day food bender for me."
While the rapper continues to get candid on his health journey, he has remained mum on his split from Bunnie Xo, real name Alisa DeFord, after he filed for divorce in May. TMZ surfaced the news a month later on June 15, and a divorce filing obtained by the USA TODAY Network noted the couple separated on May 9.
