San Francisco 49ers WR Deebo Samuel had six receptions, 48 yards, and a touchdown in a Week 1 victory over the Los Angeles Rams. He also carried the ball once for 12 yards.

Why It Matters: Back in San Francisco after a year in Washington, Samuel looked refreshed, and Kyle Shanahan had a number of plays drawn up to get him the ball in space. In the bigger picture, Samuel's value could increase if the injury to De'Zhaun Stribling (ankle) ends up being something that keeps him sidelined for an extended period of time. Keep an eye out for updates on Stribling to get a better read on Samuel's outlook. At the moment, Samuel is roster depth as a WR5, but that could change.
