Starbucks has something festive in store this holiday season, and this time, it’s for its four-legged and furry customers.
While Starbucks already serves pup cups called puppacinos, the company will begin serving the doggy delicacy in a holiday-themed cup on Nov. 5.
The cup features a candy apple background with a blue-and-white spotted pup printed on it. The dog on the cup, which dons a gold bow, is inspired by a beagle named Junie, who belongs to a member of the company’s creative team, Starbucks told USA TODAY this week.

The cup also includes a green-and-white ribbon and Starbucks' white Christmas tree, decorated with gold and green ornaments, white garland and topped with a gold bow. The festive cup also features white stars against its red
background.
The release is a special addition to the company’s 2026 holiday cup unveiling.
Here’s what we know about Starbucks' first-ever holiday pup cup.
What’s in the pup cup?
The 3.5-ounce pup cup is full of whipped cream. To buy one, customers must visit a company-owned or standalone Starbucks location, the company told USA TODAY on Nov. 5.
Starbucks said the cups will be available until supplies run out.
The Seattle-based coffeehouse chain first began releasing holiday cups in 1997, it said. While most people expected the company to go with a traditional color like red, Starbucks shied away from the seasonal custom. Instead, the first holiday cups came in four colors: deep magenta and three other jewel tones. Two years later, the company released a red holiday cup.
Today, the cups come in colors such as red, white and, in one design, a light, powdery blue. The cups feature garland, green and white holiday trees, stars and vintage-style bows.
