The Kansas City Chiefs return to action in Week 6 after their bye week, and they couldn't have asked for a better start to the 2026 NFL season.
At 4-0, Kansas City stands as the AFC's lone undefeated team and has quickly put any lingering concerns about Patrick Mahomes' recovery from a reconstructed ACL to rest. Now, the Chiefs turn their attention to an AFC West showdown against the Los Angeles Chargers, who desperately need to find answers.
Mahomes has looked like himself through the opening month, while offseason addition Kenneth Walker III has added another dimension to Kansas City's offense. Walker led the NFL with 537 rushing yards before the bye and has added six total touchdowns. The Chiefs will have to navigate some injury concerns, however,
with Tyquan Thornton sidelined by a significant ankle injury and Rashee Rice's availability in question after a hamstring strain.
Things have been far less rosy in Los Angeles. Injuries and questionable offensive play-calling have contributed to a disappointing start for the Chargers, putting offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel under increasing pressure to turn things around. The Chargers simply can't afford to let Kansas City walk all over them.
Can the Chiefs keep their perfect record intact, or will the Chargers deliver a shocking upset? Here's everything you need to know about how to watch Sunday's matchup, including kickoff time, TV channel, streaming options, the AFC West standings and more.
