Atlanta-native NBA star Dwight Howard is pulling up his roots in the Peach State and selling his 14-acre Suwanee estate.
Howard played 18 seasons in the NBA after entering the draft early and becoming the third number one draft pick to be selected straight out of high school. Upon retiring from the league, he now plays in the country of Georgia, leaving his American estate behind.
The home, listed at the beginning of September, comes with a dozen bedrooms, more than 20 bathrooms and a $14.5 million price tag.
It's located just off Suwanee Dam Road, on Suwanee's northwest side and about 45 minutes northeast of Atlanta. Howard purchased the home a decade ago for just shy of $9 million, property records show.

Road is a near-private estate in the surburban area of Suwanee, part of Atlanta's northern sprawl. From the road, you can see a grand staircase leading up to giant white columns and a brick house, carefully landscaped and in a classic Southern style.
The architecture of the home is described as "timeless" and "European-inspired," with "resort-style amenities" across the property's 14 acres.
The property has 26,233 feet of living space, divided between the main house and a guest house, and the entire property is built to fit an NBA stature with 12-foot doors.
Howard leaves behind Atlanta roots
Dwight Howard, described as a "man-child" by the Basketball Hall of Fame, was born in Atlanta in December 1985, and attended Southwest Atlanta Christian Academy before being drafted.
He played for seven NBA teams over the course of his NBA career, including a stint with the Atlanta Hawks for the 2016-2017 season.
In a speech during his Hall of Fame induction in 2025, Howard said his "hoops dreams" began with a basketball and his "imagination," as his family didn't have a basket and he would instead play against his siblings in the streets.
He spent time thanking his former church in East Point, his school and the coaches he had in Atlanta during his remarks, and acknowledging the support he received from his family and community in Georgia.
