You can trick or treat at Chipotle again this Halloween.
The fast-casual restaurant chain will once again host its annual "Boorito" Halloween celebration, which gives members of its Chipotle Rewards loyalty program a special dinner deal if they show up in costume at participating restaurants after 3 p.m. local time on Saturday, Oct. 31.
Rewards members who dress up in costume can get a $6 entrée deal – entreés such as burritos and burrito bowls typically cost under $10 to $12.
Chipotle has made this an annual event for more than 25 years, having hosted a burrito-themed costume contest in 2000. During the COVID years, the company distributed codes online to virtual trick or treaters in 2020 and created a virtual Chipotle restaurant through the Metaverse
in 2021.
“We love that Chipotle has become part of so many fans’ Halloween traditions,” said Stephanie Perdue, senior vice president, brand marketing for Chipotle, in a news release. “The passion around Boorito inspires us to find new ways to celebrate and surprise our fans year after year.”
