With a variety of off weeks, including for top California teams ahead of the start of Trinity League play, there wasn't a lot of change in the Week 7 Super 25 national high school football rankings.
But a couple key games did cause shift near the bottom.
No. 18 Thomas County Central's (GA) performance against Lee County (GA) was highly impressive, a 49-point outing behind quarterback Aidan McPherson and his seven total touchdowns in a victory that elevates the Yellow Jackets in the rankings. Across the country, De La Salle (Concord, CA) got the upper hand against a southern California foe, knocking then-No. 23 Centennial (Corona, CA) out of the Super 25.
Beyond that, the teams that were expected to dominate did just that. No. 12 Baylor RB David
Gabriel Georges continued to do his magic; No. 14 Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth, CA) had no trouble putting away its in-state opponent; and the six teams in the top 10 that played allowed a combined 24 points.
