AMC Theatres is honoring the "one and only" Dolly Parton with special screenings of two of her most beloved films.
CEO Adam Aron shared the news in an Aug. 27 X post, writing that AMC is bringing back "Steel Magnolias" and "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas" to "about 200 of our theatres."
The country music legend

The special
big-screen presentations began Aug. 28, and are scheduled to continue through Sept. 2, at approximately 200 locations nationwide, including AMC theaters throughout Parton's home state of Tennessee.
According to AMC, participating locations will offer two matinee screenings daily, including one showing of each title, at AMC Fan Faves value pricing.
