New York Giants QB Jaxson Dart connected on 23 of his 29 pass attempts for 230 yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions in a 28-20 win over the Dallas Cowboys in Week 1. Dart also ran 11 times for 54 yards.

Why It Matters: With Malik Nabers and Cam Skattebo back from injury, and Isaiah Likely making his Giants debut, Dart had a much deeper assortment of weapons to work with than he did for much of his rookie year. It showed. The second-year quarterback was accurate, decisive, and avoided unnecessary hits, which is something the new coaching staff has been preaching. For as good as things looked on Sunday night, let's not call Dart a finished product just yet. While there was talk about Dallas being improved defensively, don't
forget they ranked dead last in the NFL last year in points allowed and 30th in total defense. Dart proved he can be a QB1 in a plus matchup. Next up is showing he can stack success against an angry Rams team in Week 2.
