It looks like France is starting to feel like home for Gio Reyna.
The talentedU.S. international has struggled to find consistency both on the field and off it over the past several years, bouncing from the Borussia Dortmund club where he developed to a loan with Nottingham Forest, then a move to Borussia Mönchengladbach ahead of this summer's transfer to Ligue 1 side RC Strausbourg.
But in addition to confidence from U.S. manager Mauricio Pochettino, who heavily utilized Reyna in four friendly matches in the September-October international window, Reyna is also starting to show his potential in France, opening the scoring for Strausbourg in a marquee matchup with reigning champion Paris Saint-Germain.
After intercepting a pass on the right wing
in the 17th minute, Reyna worked with winger Gessime Yassine. The 23-year-old asked for the ball back at the corner of the box, taking two touches and then sending a left-footed shot past PSG goalkeeper Matvey Safonov.
Even got the classic Gio "point at his foot" moment in the build-up. 10/10.

It's Reyna's second goal in the Ligue 1 season and helped Strasbourg take a lead as it looks to snap a two-match losing skid.
